"An engaging and delightful read! This should begin to remedy the inexcusable neglect of two of the best Catholic thinkers of modern times."--Peter Kreeft, author, Before I Go: Letters to Our Children about What Really Matters
"As writers, lecturers, and activists, Frank and Maisie combined a love of the Church with a generous, zealous, and courageous spirit. They believed that God mattered, and that faith unlived was no faith at all. This collection of their spiritual writings will help cement their contribution."--Dana Greene, author, The Living of Maisie Ward
Frank Sheed (d. 1981) and Maisie Ward (d. 1975) were a remarkable literary couple--founders of Sheed & Ward publishers, authors of innumerable books on Catholic history, theology, and spirituality, and pioneers in promoting the Catholic Revival of the mid-20th century. Frank Sheed was the best-known Catholic apologist of the century while Maisie Ward won renown for her biographies and lives of the saints.
