A collection of essays by a number of his former students honors one of the towering figures of Vatican II scholarship: Joseph A. Komonchak. The book honors his achievements, but more importantly, it gathers well-known researchers to advance current scholarship on the transformations of the Roman Catholic Church in the twentieth century. Contributors include scholars internationally recognized for their work on twentieth-century Roman Catholic history, systematic theology, and the theology of the Second Vatican Council.
