2016 CATHOLIC PRESS ASSOCIATION BOOK AWARD WINNER! - 50th Anniversary of Vatican II

A collection of essays by a number of his former students honors one of the towering figures of Vatican II scholarship: Joseph A. Komonchak. The book honors his achievements, but more importantly, it gathers well-known researchers to advance current scholarship on the transformations of the Roman Catholic Church in the twentieth century. Contributors include scholars internationally recognized for their work on twentieth-century Roman Catholic history, systematic theology, and the theology of the Second Vatican Council.

Christopher D. Denny is an associate professor in the department of theology and religious studies at St. John's University in New York City.

Patrick J. Hayes is the archivist for the Baltimore Province of the Redemptorists, based in Brooklyn, New York.

Nicholas Rademacher teaches at Cabrini College in Philadelphia and currently serves as the secretary for the College Theology Society.
